Russian signs that touch my soul

On this page, I've decided I'll keep a running tabs of all the Russian signs that either 1) make me laugh, or 2) make me cringe. This includes commercials (which range from hilarious to bizarre) and the names of Russian stores. Oh, yes: you will finally get to see the joy of English words spelled with Russian letters.

Strange commercial at some restaurant on Nevsky Prospect

Same restaurant

For those who don't read Russian, that says "Stereo Sushi".

Soviet Cafe in Russia. Priceless.

Strangest strip club poster.... pretty much ever.

Got to love the missing letters.

First word: English; Second: Obuf (Russian)-Holl (English word in Russian letters).

And then, all sex shops have their names in English.

Publica Cafe. Or...

Cafe Public.

Because what sushi bar doesn't have karaoke?

And then there's the odd combination of sushi and Middle Eastern food...

Because the Spartans rode stationary bikes.

My favorite food: Puncakes, with hot Coffe. Served courtesy of "Gourmet Coffee House".

A very cool commercial that I saw; I don't even know what it's for.

A crazy awesome candy shop display. (Review of the shop will be posted as soon as I actually go there.)

A restaurant called "Kukhnya paparazzi" (literally Kitchen of the Paparazzi")

The legendary "Kofe Hauz", which is supposed to mean "Coffee House"

A movie theater called "Crystal Palace" (both in English and Cyrillic)

Another one of those restaurants where only one word is in English, and then everything else is in Russian.

An HTC store in Russia; once again, the sign is in English, and the decoration is in Russian.

As this is English, I have no need to translate; but isn't that just a fantastic name?

"Restoran La Presse": because multilingualism is never underrated in Russia.
If you can't tell... Yes, that is a sign warning of cars driving off the bridge.
From the Central Park: A sign saying "Beware of Squirrels"
The outside of a restaurant literally called "Happiness"; and after eating there, oh my god, it really is.
Internal decor "Schaste" (Happiness)

More decor "Happiness"

Zoom in decor "Happiness"

Zoom in decor "Happiness"

Zoom in decor "Happiness"

A hilarious commercial of a squirrel trying to push a Snickers bar into its tree. What more do you need to know?
A restaurant called "The Idiot": a literary allusion to the story by Dostoevsky, but somewhere I want to send many a person to be with their own kind.

For those who can't read Russian letters, that is literally "Restoran China Town". Seriously.

"Casa del Myasa: No Fish Restoran"= Spanish Spanish Russian, English English Russian.
Also known as "destroying multiple languages".
